Carrier Transicold announced Tuesday its BluEdge service platform, first launched for truck trailer customers in North America last year, is now available in Europe and Australia.

The BluEdge service offering launched by North America Truck Trailer has received positive feedback, the company says. Truck and trailer customers in Europe and Australia are now able to protect their fleets with BluEdge service plans. BluEdge is a three-tiered service model, with Core, Enhance and Elite levels designed to allow customers to select the level of service tailored to their needs.
The BluEdge service platform includes the ability to:
- Schedule inspections and timely preventive maintenance with Carrier dealers and service partner locations.
- Obtain preferred pricing on genuine Carrier Transicold parts.
- Avoid costly emergency callout repairs.
- Select from a menu of (optional) features and digital offerings to increase asset utilization, minimize downtime and maximize fuel/ energy economy.
BluEdge customers also have access to integration with the cloud-based Lynx digital platform that applies IoT analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence to deliver real-time visibility and insights. Carrier says these insights can be leveraged to better predict preventative maintenance opportunities and reduce operating costs for customers using the BluEdge service platform. The company plans to extend the BluEdge service platform to container refrigeration and commercial refrigeration customers in the future, offering comprehensive solutions for refrigeration systems over rail, road, sea and retail and warehouse spaces.
