Karmak holds successful Fusion summit for Mack and Volvo dealers

Karmak recently partnered with Gateway Truck & Refrigeration and Mack and Volvo Trucks to host a summit for Fusion clients.

Attendees from 10 Mack/Volvo dealers from 10 different states came to Gateway’s Collinsville, Ill., headquarters. Additional attendees included Phillip Swaim from Network Uptime Development Volvo Group Truck Sales & Marketing Americas, Keith Ely from KEA Advisors, and Robert Nordstrom, Ashley Rush, and Krystal Laughead from Decisiv.

Karmak says the attendee-driven agenda included a deep dive into features of Karmak Fusion. By using real-world scenarios, attendees learned ways they can improve efficiencies in their businesses by leveraging technologies. Attendees were also able to discuss industry needs and trends with the Mack/Volvo, Karmak, KEA, and Decisiv subject matter experts and their peers from other dealerships.

The summit kicked off with an evening welcome reception for introductions and networking. The next morning, attendees were led on an interactive walk-through tour of Gateway’s facilities, focused on processes in parts and service operations. Afterwards, attendees got the chance to focus on how they can better leverage Fusion in their day-to-day operations with multiple classroom sessions led by Karmak experts. Additional sessions held with support from Mack/Volvo, Decisiv, and KEA Advisors led to excellent open discussion on everyday challenges, strategic approaches, and actionable learning content that attendees could take back to their businesses, Karmak says.

“Gateway was proud to host the Karmak Fusion User Summit and excited to see so many of our fellow dealers here in St. Louis. These meetings were interactive, engaging and reassuring in that we know our partners at Mack/Volvo, Karmak and Decisiv are truly listening to the end users and working to help us improve our processes and workflows,” says Zach Wagner, Gateway Truck and Refrigeration.
