TransChicago Truck Group has added Transcraft and Benson trailer dealer at its Northwest Indiana location.
“We’ll be selling American made Transcraft and Benson steel, aluminum, and combination trailers in Gary,” says Doug Cayce, president and CEO at TransChicago. “We’ll be able to supply our customers looking for quality platform trailers, at great prices, with this new product line that comes with over 50 years of experience.”
Cayce has been looking forward to carrying Transcraft and Benson’s stellar product line, he says. Established in 1962, Transcraft steel flatbed trailers are rugged and known for their premium building materials and excellent standard warranty. In 1984, Benson introduced aluminum trailers and revolutionized the industry. TransChicago says these quality trailers provide higher payloads and improved corrosion resistance, and are also offered with solid warranty options. Together since 2008, Transcraft and Benson are a winning combination in the trucking industry.
“Transcraft and Benson has created the first combo trailer in the industry. It is lightweight, incredibly strong, and thoroughly design tested — made with premium materials that come standard, and built in the U.S.A.,” Cayce says.
With the addition of Transcraft and Benson, TransChicago Truck Group will also be able to work with its customers to build specialty trailers for a wide variety of different platform applications.
“Basically, from owner-operators to fleet customers, our goal is to provide the best quality product from the ground up, then to continue our relationship by providing solid Parts and Service support as time goes on,” Cayce says. “Our customers are our most valuable asset, so as we continue to grow our product line at our three Chicagoland locations, we will increasingly maintain strong relationships with anyone who comes through our doors.”
